Not everyone needs counseling but many of us get “stuck” in life and need help moving forward. Having worked in caregiving professions for years, Bruce and Jocelyn felt God calling them to take this type of ministry into the community and have witnessed people grow and lives changed.

Bruce is the founder of Toward the Goal Ministries, Inc. He is a certified Pastoral Counselor and Life Coach, Ordained Pastor and published author. Bruce specializes in the areas of coaching, consulting, employee development and servant leadership training, both in the corporate world and community.
Bruce earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Business from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, a Master of Ministry from Master’s International School of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership Studies from Newburgh Seminary.
His life purpose and passion is to love God and love others while investing in people, helping them grow to reach their full potential.

Jocelyn is the Executive Director of Toward the Goal Ministries, Inc. and feels called to encourage, mentor and walk alongside women who desire to grow personally, spiritually and relationally. Jocelyn enjoys meeting with individuals one-on-one and works with corporate teams facilitating character and servant leadership development initiatives. Jocelyn also serves as the coordinator of the Tuscarawas County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force which exists to bring awareness and training to professionals and community alike in the efforts to combat trafficking in Tuscarawas Co.
Jocelyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Akron and a Master of Ministry from Master’s International School of Divinity. She holds a credential in biblical counseling as well as life coaching, is a certified DISC consultant, and has served over twenty years in women’s ministry teaching, speaking, writing and mentoring.
